OSBA Fall Conference 2015

The OSBA Fall conference will be held on November 07, 2015 at the Garden Exhibition Center and will be hosted by Central Oklahoma Beekeepers Association. This meeting will be located at:
Garden Exhibition Center
3400 NW 36th Street
Oklahoma City, OK 73112

Our guest speaker will be Greg Hannaford. His is a member of Northeast Oklahoma Beekeepers Association and has Tulsa Urban Bee Company in Tulsa. Greg has over four hundred bee colonies and is the Chairman of the education committee for the American Beekeeping Federation. He has been a speaker at national forums. Don Molnar, from the Oklahoma Dept. of Agriculture, will be giving us his updates.
Registration will begin at 8:00AM and the meeting will start at 9:00AM. Donuts and coffee will be served. We will also be having a “pot luck” dinner. Drinks will be provided by OSBA. Also, we will have our traditional fundraising auction. Bringing items for auction would be appreciated. It is also our officer election meeting. Please consider running for the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer. Please inform me or Maribeth Snapp if you are interested in running for any of these positions. Do you know a person that you would like to see honored with the OSBA Beekeeper of the Year or Junior Beekeeper of the Year award? Check out the “Beekeeper of the Year” link for nomination forms and submit them to maribeth@okbees.org.

Thanks for visiting the "Oklahoma State Beekeepers Association" website. We are represented by beekeeping organizations across the State of Oklahoma. Our purpose is to promote the art of beekeeping through good hive management, encourage pollination of crops using honey bees, promote beekeeping friendly legislation, and provide a source of information relating to honey bees and beekeeping throughout the United States.
